When viewing photographs, one thing that a many people don’t understand, or even think about, is that not only is there someone behind the camera, but that “someone” had to take their camera and place themselves in a position to capture that image. Aside from lighting, composition and exposure, there’s not much to think about when viewing an image of a bowl of pears. But, when the subject matter is wild horses in their own environment, “lighting, composition and exposure” are not the only considerations. One must work very hard to anticipate where the subject will be and get into position to capture the image. And sometimes, the image “gets away”. You’re doing good things here, Paul, and it’s appreciated.
