The Sky Islands refer to the southern portion of the Rocky Mountains that extend nearly to the Mexican border. The isolated peaks rise thousands of feet above the Sonoran Desert and offer a dramatic change in climate & wildlife. These wild turkeys are so ugly they're actually beautiful.
