Artist's Description
After a short battle the two stallions were again off in pursuit the mare. The bay on the right was an amazing horse, his name was Buddy. An injury to his rear leg several years ago had grown progressively worse. However, that didn't stop this wild stallion from living a normal life as a bachelor within the herd. The injury eventually consumed his body and he was humanely euthanized in 2018.
